Taller Cuerpo Sur TCS (translated as “Body South Workshop” from Spanish) is an initiative emerging from academics at the UACH Faculty of Architecture and Arts, intended to offer spaces for reflection and exploration around the body in contemporary culture. The TCS approach combines both practical and theoretical dimensions granted by the situated body in space and a transdisciplinary view from different artistic disciplines.
This year, I have joined the TCS team and ran a workshop on Focusing-oriented Bodystorming, in order to elucidate the participants’ responses to the activities that took place in the Valdivian landscape. I was also interested in understanding their reactions towards the use of technology artefacts throughout some stages of the activities, as well as to gauge some aspects related to the experience in general.
